Some interesting recent comments on the post "What the Heck Is Chevy Chase?" -Verdugo Hugo mentioned that Chevy Chase used to be called Parkdale in Atwater Village, and commenter 2 Cents directed me to a very interesting history of Atwater Village by Neil Malmberg. Perfect timing for me to come across these facts as I am in the midst of planning another history bike ride with the Glendale Historical Society that will also encompass a lot of Atwater Village.
