Giant Pit at Former Circuit City Site

Here's the massive pit that now exists where Circuit City once stood. The east side of Maryland has been closed to thru traffic for a week because they've used it for a non-stop stream of trucks carrying dirt away from the site.

Some imagery from the EIR of the "Broadway Lofts" project that is slated to replace the former Circuit City site at the intersection of Maryland and Broadway. Demolition of the Circuit City building is progressing at a rapid pace.
