Glendale's Answer to the "House of Davids"

South Glendale has its own "House of Davids," featuring neo-classical sculpture, mayan influences, curtains, lions, swans, painted brick stripes and asymetrical rock trim.  Behold!

I often wonder, do they think it looks good, or do they do this to make their neighbors angry

I saw this a few years ago - it's so insane! Worse than the Davids. I was scared to take photos though.

LA (the greater LA Area) has a reputation for goofy and weird architecture. Personally I find these eccentric houses amusing and enjoy them. But of course, I don't live in the neighborhood.
