Glendale PD Seizes $865,000

This tiny little item jumped out at me in the activity log on the Glendale Police Department's website:

Drug and Cash Seizure – Monday, December 8, 2008:
Vice-Narcotics Detail seized approximately $865,000 in U.S. currency and several pounds of marijuana originating from a Glendale case. Four arrests were made.

I'd imagine they don't seize the better part of a million dollars in cash very often...perhaps they can afford bring back the Citizen's Academy this year?
