Glendale PD has a handful of $7,000 T3 Motion "Battery Powered Electric Security Vehicles". They enhance visible police presence, plus cops look cool riding it, as shown below:

And they're great for chasing down criminals...provided the criminal doesn't get crazy and start crossing curbs.
